Classical Affairs & Paris

Hello, blogosphere. After returning from a quick autumn vacation in Paris I recently finished a little classical piece for my solo project In the Wake of Eden, called "TRINITY". Maybe you can see some Louvre inspiration with the cover art? I'm not completely satisfied with the song but I got really frustrated to work on it any longer, so here goes nothing:

Here's another new song called "IKAROS" that I originally wrote for KARMIA two years ago, but I always thought it deserved a second life as an instrumental track. I cut away nearly 2 minutes of length and re-arranged some parts for strings etc.

As aforementioned a couple weeks ago last month we took a quick 5 day trip to Paris, France. It's been on my travel list for a very long time, so one achievement unlocked there! I'm just going to spam some Instagram pictures I took while there.

I learned it's illegal to photograph the Eiffel Tower at night... (WHAT!? I shit you not.) So I guess I'm waiting to get sued or something. Though it wasn't really night, it was like 6 or 7 pm and it was raining heavily and I just changed the contrast to even darker and more blueish tone on Instagram.

Our hotel was very nice and located about 150 meters from the Eiffel Tower, so I saw a lot of that beautiful stack of iron. Though I managed to slip and fall coming out of the shower one morning and apparently broke or hurt by tail bone pretty bad. It only started to hurt afterwards and is still kinda nasty... Old age and all.
