Halloween Song, Recording and Shooting Frames
I had doubts if I would ever write a second blog post, because of all the laziness, but here it is!
Let's start with the Halloween song for 2013, this is RAPTURE:
In mid-October we had a 2-day studio session to record two new songs. It was pretty hectic as usual because two days just isn't really enough time to record two songs, but I'm really happy with the results! I just wish we had more than 1 hour to mix the songs x)
The second new song is called MISTAKES and it will be released October 21st. With a little video clip if everything goes smoothly. I'm really excited since this is our first song to feature (partly) Finnish lyrics and the song is pretty awesome!
Both songs will be available on iTunes, Spotify and a lot of other shops on the same day.
A week before the studio we had a 2-day photoshoot session for separate pics for both songs. Jere of Jenlayn was a huge help to us once again and shot the Mistakes session pictures. For those of who know your way around Helsinki, we shot these at the Sinebrychoff Park. And it was a really really really cold day to be wearing a sweater that winds right through. But you know I really like the autumn colors and dark moody nights wait NO I DON'T .___. SUMMER COME BACK!
New Facebook page
After struggling a long time with fake Facebook users liking our page and Facebook doing nothing about it, we decided to create a new one and delete the old page soon. The problem was that real users never saw our posts pretty much at all. Out of over 26 000 likes usually around 100-500 people saw a post. So we had no idea how many people there really were liking us, since Facebook limits the post views unless you pay them money. The theory on the internets is that a similar band has been buying likes and they are automatically liking other bands and such, to make the profiles look more real and not get deleted. I know other bands have this same problem whether they know about it or not. I really hope we are not getting into that loop again this time. Losing 3 years of history really pisses me off :( Show some love and give us a real like, we exist for you <3
